Ciabatta, papaya salad and fried chicken

Today, we had the papaya salad and fried chicken for lunch. On the right second row is the ciabatta sandwich which we had for breakfast. For the salad, the papaya must be unripened (top right pic).

Roast beef day

Went to Giant Tampines yesterday to buy roast beef and bread for our meals. We had roast beef and cheese sandwiches for breakfast and roast beef rice plus papaya salad for lunch. All meals were prepared at home and they were not only healthy but delicious too!

Meals for Thursday

I like the papaya salad so much that my wife prepared another one for me today. We also had the prawn mee from a hawker stall which was delicious ($4).

Dinner at home

We had dandan noodles and potato salad for dinner. Needless to say, it was a simple and yet oishii meal.

Sandwiches and papaya salad

This morning our breakfast was tuna, cheese and egg sandwiches, prepared at home. This was one of the best sandwiches I ever had. The bread was purchased from Four Leaves bakery. Its texture was soft and ideal for sandwiches.

This papaya salad was my lunch. It was delicious and prepared by my wife after I told her I had this at a hawker once before. This was quite similar to the one I ate at the hawker stall. In fact, it was better.
