How to beat cold & flu with this concoction

Many of us had suffered or are suffering from the stubborn flu, cough and cold from time to time. I am going to show you how to make this mixture of apple cider vinegar, oranges and rock sugar which if taken regularly will help you keep the flu, cough, cold and runny nose etc away.

What you need to buy:

  • Oranges (7 to 8), the sweeter the better
  • A bottle of apple cider vinegar (about 946 ml or 32 fl oz)
  • Rock sugar (500gm)

Method:

  1.  Peel the oranges and slice them
  2.  Place the sliced oranges into a container
  3.  Put the rock sugar (500gm) into the container
  4.  Pour the whole bottle of apple cider into the container with the oranges & rock sugar
  5. Close the container and keep it in a dark place for a week until the sugar has been dissolved. If it is partially dissolved you may stir it until it is well mixed
  6.  Use a juice blender and blend the mixture. You may drink it with or without the orange pulp.
  7. Mix 1 part of the mixture with about 5 parts of water (you may dilute it even more like 1 part to 7 parts of water etc)
  8. Drink it daily anytime of the day
  9. After 3 to 5 months or so, you would have build up your immunity against the dreaded flu and cold.
I used to have flu and cold accompanied with high fever at least once a year. After taking the above mixture I managed to keep the sickness away for  15 years until last year. I gave up taking the mixture because I had bad rashes. At first, I thought the rashes were due to the vinegar but I was wrong. During the couple of months which I refrained from taking the mixture, I had a bad flu accompanied by a high fever.
The good news is I am back drinking my apple cider mixture and keeping the flu and cold at bay.

Noble shares is even worth buying now

Had McDonald's Prosperity Burger for lunch today. This burger is only available around the Chinese New Year season. It's tasty and value for money. A set cost around $9.

Dinner was light. 2 slices of toast from "Four leaves" with cheddar cheese and butter. A cup of yesterday's mussel chowder and some broccoli.

Didn't do much as just recovered from flu. So spent most of my time monitoring my shares. I am glad that SIA has raised the offer price of Tiger to 45 cents from 41 cents.
Noble is another counter that is worth monitoring since the price has plummeted to a very low of around 32 cents. One of the reasons Noble share has dropped a lot is due to Moody and S & P's downgrading it to "junk" status. I firmly believe that Noble is worth much much more than its current price. Many skeptics say that Noble may go bankrupt but it is utter rubbish. I have traded in Noble shares in recent days and made some money out of it. In fact, I have bought more at 33 cents and is waiting for it to go up. To me "no risk, no profits".

Home "quarantine" due to flu

No action today due to flu. Wife cooked Mussel Chowder to be eaten with whole grain bread. Let's see what's next.

3pm:

Slept in the afternoon after eating the above. Tired due to the menacing flu. I don't usually get flu so easily in the past because I used to drink apple cider vinegar. Perhaps I would be down with flu once in 10 years but since I've given up taking apple cider I get it at least once a year. Reason I gave up consuming apple cider is because I thought it gave me the skin allergy.

5pm:

Broke house "quarantine" and went to a nearby mall to do some grocery shopping with my "Chef" (wife la).
Flu disappearing a little and hopefully after a good night rest, I should be up and about tomorrow.

Flu and trying to recuperate

Got a mild flu (runny nose) but coconut juice helped relieve the discomfort. Stayed at home trying to recuperate.
