My weight has stabilized

Since my weight has stabilized around 69.2/69.4 kg, I am able to enjoy my favorite hawker food without feeling guilty.
I had sliced fish in soup with bitter gourd and lettuce plus a bowl of rice for lunch
and a bowl of Eng's noodles as well as some hay pia for dinner. With these food, I am confident I will wake tomorrow morning weighing in the low 69 kg. Below are pictures of today's meals.

Papaya, fish soup, pies and the Lord's blessings

Our breakfast was 1/4 of a papaya. As for lunch, we proceeded to Ang Mo Kio Ave 10 for our favorite fish soup. The Q was long and it took us 20 minutes before we got our food. We brought from home slices of bitter gourd and cherry tomatoes and added them to the fish soup. It was a very good meal and we were satisfied even though we had to wait for 20 minutes.
A bowl of fish soup (although it's known as fish soup, the dish contains generous slices of mackeral fish plus tofu, bitter gourd, tomatoes etc) and rice cost us $4.50.
In the late afternoon, we had our coffee, chicken pie ($1.80) and a slice of pizza ($1.30) at a nearby coffee shop (picture below). With all the above, we decided to skip dinner.

Perhaps due to my good genes and reasonably healthy eating habits, my BMI is in the healthy range (24.6). My BP is also good or should I say normal, despite of my age. Well, besides good genes and healthy eating habits, I think I am fine because God has been gracious and kind to me.

My systolic reading is 123 and diastolic is 74. My resting pulse rate is 64. All these blessings come from the Lord Jesus and no one else.

Sliced fish soup with rice

We decided to go to Ang Mo Kio for our lunch. We drove to Block 409, AMK Ave 10 where the famous Long Xing sliced fish soup stall is located. We were there at 11am and the queue wasn't long. Waiting time was about 10 minutes. For $4, you will get a big bowl of soup with large slices of Batang (Mackerel) and veggies. We brought from home, sliced bitter gourd and Korean seaweed and mixed them in the piping hot clear fish soup. The meal was satisfying and worth the drive there.

It is a great Sunday

Since I went to AMK to pay the deposit for the rental of the room for the cabin crew wannabes "Talks", I stopped at Long Xjing  stall for my favorite fish soup and rice. The queue is usually long but within 15 minutes I was served. It's value for money plus the fish served was fresh.

My meal, shopping and the weather

Had this fish soup with rice at Long Xing Fish Soup, 409 AMK Ave 10. Must be patient as the queue is always long and may take you 15 to 20 minutes to get your food. One thing for sure is that the fish (batang fish) is fresh and tasty. The smallest bowl like the one I ordered above is $4.50 including rice.
I had it for breakfast.

There is a market and many shops around Block 409 (Teck Ghee) AMK Ave 10 selling meat, fish, poultry, fruits, clothing etc. I bought the above vegetables and fruits from the market.
This place is not as crowded as Chong Pang market but has all the stuff I wanted. Besides, it is half the distance from my place as compared to Chong Pang.

Sudden change of weather

One moment the weather was fine with lots of sunshine and next, a thunderstorm followed by a heavy downpour at about 4 pm today.
